All our driftwood sculptures are hand made using locally found driftwood (and other items) found on local beaches here in Devon and Cornwall, England.

Owner, Rikkie Carette has been making these sculptures for about 9 years now and has sold all over the world. Rikkie also owns Clean Coast Services (www.cleancoastservices.net) where as part of his cleaning service in the marine environment he finds many interesting pieces of driftwood etc. in fact this is how his sculpture business started... one of the Marinas he cleans (Mayflower Marina) had a new restaurant (Jolly Jacks) opening and the new owners asked Rikkie for some interesting pieces of driftwood they could use as decoration. Rather than just supply a piece of driftwood Rikkie made his first sculpture and it was from that one sculpture he soon got more and more orders.

Rikkie loves making one-off special sculptures but even ‘repeat’ orders are never quite the same because each piece of driftwood is always going to be different so in a way, all sculptures are one-offs.

Sculptures can and are made to order, we have had some very strange requests but if you can think of it we can make it. We have even made three large sculptures for an Italian cruise ship.
